The book of Jeremiah is challenging. Having 52 chapters, it is the second longest of all the prophetic works. More infromation in the February Newsletter.

The Contemporary Issues Discussion Group sets the world to rights every second Wednesday evening from 8-9.30pm. This year we have discussed how to be happy, inequalities in British society, the economics of drug dealing and various other socio-politico-economic topics. We have just finished reading "Nudge: Improving Decisions About Health, Wealth, and Happiness" by Thaler & Sunstein, the ideas of which have been adopted by the current UK government and regularly appear in discussion on Radio 4.
